Occasionally, we get questions from our customers as to what the "spots/stripes/veins" are on the Shungite products they have received.
These "spots/stripes/veins" are inclusions of Quarz and Pyrite and therefore definitely not damage. These unique features are common in all kinds of Shungite products, including jewelry.
More often you can find the beautiful unique and natural inclusions in unpolished pieces, but when wearing a Shungite bracelet, for example, an inclusion may also surface. No two pieces are the same, all pieces are unique.
