Checking the properties of Shungite
Shungite is one of the few stones that conduct electricity. You can test this with a digital multimeter. When you place the tips of the measuring cables on the piece of Shungite, the meter should register. It can sometimes be a little more difficult to place the tips correctly on the Shungite, so move them up and down a little.
If you have a small piece of Shungite, you can also test it using your cell phone. When you move your fingers across your touchscreen, the screen responds due to the conduction of electricity through your fingers. If you use a Shungite stone instead of your fingers on the screen, the screen will also respond. With a "normal" stone, the screen will not respond.
