Where does Shungite come from?
All our Shungite comes directly from the source, namely from the Shungite area in Karelia, Russia. There the pieces of Shungite are mined and then polished with brushes and water. This processing is 100% pure and no chemicals are used in this process.
What is the effect of Shungite?
Just 25 years ago, the Russians came out with their healing secret for humanity. The million-year-old stone found nowhere else in the entire world but Russia.
Shungite is unique in every way. Its structure is so special that you cannot find it in any place on earth. The molecules resemble carbon, but are totally different in shape and have a beautiful energy. Not only this substance is found in this powerful stone, but also many other elements, many of which are listed in Medeliev's tables.
Especially now that we live in a time of G4, G4+ and G5, we can be happy with this cosmic stone. The effect is actually quite simple; you can say that negative energies are converted by Shungite to positive. Repolarized or harmonized you might say. This has been proven also by Russian science. That these scientists think much further ahead than ours is proven by the fact that in Russian hospitals the recovery room (after surgery) is lined with Shungite. It has been proven that Shungite neutralizes anesthesia, heals wounds faster, stimulates blood production and reduces unpleasant side effects of surgery.
What are those "spots/stripes/veins" on/in my Shungite products?
From time to time, we are asked by our customers what the "spots/stripes/veins" are on the Shungite products they have received.
These "spots/stripes/veins" are inclusions of Quarz and Pyrite and therefore definitely not damage. These unique features are common in all kinds of Shungite products, including jewelry.
More often you can find the beautiful unique and natural inclusions in unpolished pieces, but when wearing a Shungite bracelet, for example, an inclusion may also surface. After all, no two pieces are the same, all pieces are unique.
Does Shungite give off?
The non-polished pieces give off some Shungite dust, especially in the beginning. This dust is C60 and completely harmless to the skin and body and certainly not dirty.
Should it get on your clothing, it is easy to wash it out by rubbing it beforehand with a stain remover, for example with a piece of Aleppo soap.
Do you have to clean Shungite all the time?
Release all old beliefs. Shungite is a totally different crystal than any other. Most crystals are created by high pressure in the earth, Shungite is a cosmic stone that has traveled through all universes for as many as 100 billion years. Shungite cannot be compared to any other 'stone'.
We do recommend rinsing the purification stones before using them. They may have dust on them from transportation. You don't have to do anything else. Nice and easy.
